Hey Hubba privacy policy

Hey Hubba is a private home assistant used by a single household. It is not a public service and has no users other than that household.

What it accesses. With the household’s consent, Hey Hubba reads and writes events on that household’s own Google Calendar (the calendar.events scope). It does not access email, contacts, files or any other Google data.

Where data goes. Calendar data is read by software running on a computer inside the home and is used only to answer the household’s own questions and carry out its own requests. It is not sold, shared with third parties for advertising, or used for any other purpose.

Storage. A copy of the calendar may be cached on the home computer so questions can be answered when the internet is down. Sign-in tokens are stored on that computer only.

Revoking access. The household can remove Hey Hubba’s access at any time from their Google Account under Security, third-party access, which invalidates the stored token immediately.
